The workshop “Nonlinear and stochastic methods in climate and geophysical fluid dynamics” will be held in Paris at the Institut Henri Poincaré on October 7-11 2019. The workshop is part of a broader scientific programme "Mathematics for the environment and climate” that will run from September to December 2019. The programme will see the short-to-long term residence  of many world-class scientists working at the intersection of mathematics, theoretical physics, and geosciences.

There will be invited talks, contributed talks and a poster session. Young researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts for a poster or for a short talk (15 min).

A cocktail reception will take place on October 8th at 6pm at the top of the Zamansky tower (Jussieu). Participants who wish to attend the cocktail should register before September 24th. Please note that the room of the cocktail has limited capacity (130 people).
